When BFN Impact took over the Jobcentre alongside the fantastic Danielle Heir, we had one clear mission: take the rulebook of corporate recruitment and give it straight to our community.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or an experienced professional, the reality is the same - sending your CV into a digital black hole is a game of chance. We we determined to improve the odds for our graduates at the Jobcentre.

What Went Down in the Room

We brought Danielle Heir (Talent Acquisition Manager, UNIQLO Europe) directly to the cohort for a real-world look at what recruiters are really looking for:

The Live CV Glow-Up: We pulled up a standard, cliché-heavy CV and completely dismantled it. The cohort learned how to transform basic "duties" into data-driven, punchy USPs.
The 90-Second Interview Hook: We coached our career-starters on how to map their unique lived experiences directly to top-tier competencies to catch the attention of busy.
The Assessment Centre Lab: Attendees were thrown into the fire with a live retail simulation. They didn't just talk about teamwork; they managed budgets, solved operational money leaks, and proved their commercial acumen under pressure.
